At the request of a client in the food processing industry, Boulter Industrial fabricated, assembled, and installed a steel platform, complete with 3 sets of stairs and railings. To fabricate the stairs, railings and platform, we relied on a combination of plasma cutting, bending, and forming. After assembly, we began the installation of the 26X40’ platform onsite, at our client’s food processing plant in Rochester, New York.

With the remainder of the plant continuing production as normal, we rigged and assembled the platform structure with the use of forklifts, chain falls, and a carry deck crane. We overcame the challenging conditions and completed the installation in 11 days with no disruption to the plant production.
